After taking shahada, he wrote this on Insta.

The Corona crisis has given me the necessary freedom to find my faith again. For many years Islam has been on my mind. But there were also times when I couldn't do anything with it and I let myself be politically influenced. But when I had hard times, Islam gave me the necessary strength. Life goes down and up. As a popular saying goes If you had learned to walk in my shoes, you would only cry. 

My faith is now strong enough so that I can acknowledge the one true God and say the Shahada to be proud to say, yes I am Muslim. ☝️
